𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 | November 24, 2023: The Department of Justice – Philippines (DOJ), the government’s principal law agency, and the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) – Makabata Helpline 1383 signed the 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐌𝐎𝐔) for the groundbreaking Makabata 1383 Helpline Project. Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Boying Remulla and CWC’s Undersecretary Angelo M. Tapales – Council for the Welfare of Children spearheaded this collaboration, emphasizing the helpline’s role as a lifeline for children.
