The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is ramping up its psychosocial interventions for teenage mothers and their families through ProtecTEEN, a dedicated program aimed at addressing the increasing number of adolescent pregnancies in the country.

๐Ÿ“Š According to a report from the Commission on Population and Development (CPD), 142,276 adolescent mothers gave birth in 2023. This underscores the urgent need for comprehensive support and prevention strategies.
