The Council for the Welfare of Children leads the observance of 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 (𝘾𝙎𝘼𝘼𝙒) with outmost priority on prevention and intervention to fight child sexual abuse and exploitation of children.

Under the Presidential Proclamation No. 731 series of 1996 declares the 2nd week of February each year as the 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

For this year’s Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Week’s Theme:
