We officially started the National Children’s Month activities through “๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ ๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐: ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐๐ง’๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ข๐๐ค-๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ” at Valenzuela City Amphitheater, November 6, 2023.
It was indeed an opening festive celebration to highlight children’s rights to survive, develop, participate, and be protected with the guidance of their parents, guardians, teachers, and duty-bearers. Wearing their favorite fruits and vegetables, everyone was amazed by their creativity and eye-catching OOTDs, in line with the NCM 2023’s theme “๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ, ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐๐, ๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐: ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ”. The maximum participation of children, parents, and the messages from and attendance of the Council of the Welfare of Children’s Executive Director Angelo Tapales and our partners and visitors from the Valenzuela LGU, DSWD, DOH, NNC, UNICEF, and PhilHealth fulfilled the whole event.
Maraming-maraming salamat po sa lahat ng dumalo!
We also encourage everyone to join and support our month-long programs and activities this November. All LGUs are encouraged to celebrate NCM in their respective local areas based on DILG MC 2023-152.
