𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), represented by Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs Irene Dumlao, serves as one of the panelists at the Talakayang Makabata on Tuesday (October 24).

Asst. Sec. Dumlao highlighted the different programs of the Department to address the nutritional concerns of children in the country.

The Talakayang Makabata is an annual press conference leading to the National Children’s Month celebration in November.

Other panelists in the Talakayang Makabata are Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) Executive Director Undersecretary Angelo Tapales; Department of Health (Philippines) (DOH) Division Chief Dr. Miguel Angelo Mantarin; National Youth Commission (NYC) Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer Leah Villalon; National Nutrition Council (NNC) OIC Deputy Executive Director Jovita Raval; and child representative Cammy Akilah Garcia.
