Mahalagang mamulat nang maaga ang mga bata sa mga pagdiriwang sapagkat parte ito ng makulay at makasaysayang kultura at tradisyon ng bansang Pilipinas. Sa kabilang banda, may kaakibat din na kapahamakan sa mga bata ang mga malalaking pagdiriwang lalo na dahil sa maraming dumadagsang tao, ibat-ibang pagkain, at may mga mapagsamantalang indibidwal. ----------

Ang 31st National Children’s Month Kick-off Ceremony, “Pista ng mga Bata!” ay kasalukuyang ipinagdaraos sa Valenzuela City. Ito ay sa pangunguna ng Council for the Welfare of Children, DSWD, at NYC kasama ang DOH, NNC, UNICEF, local government ng Valenzuela, mga bata at magulang.

The focus of this year’s celebration is on children’s healthcare and nutrition with the theme, “Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered: Ensuring the right to life for all”.
