This day, we commemorate 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲, the day when Dr. Jose Rizal was executed in 1896 at Bagumbayan, Manila, now called Luneta.
We remember his courage and nationalism, which played crucial roles in the Philippines’ struggle for Filipinos’ rights and freedom from Spanish colonial rule.
Despite his death, he has bestowed on us the power of altruistic sacrifice and service in pursuing our unwavering commitment to every Filipino child.
His life and notable works serve as an indelible legacy that inspires us to build our firm determination to advance children’s rights and welfare in every step we take.
No doubt, he is our national hero.
