Buong suporta ang ibinibigay ng Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) sa desisyon ng Korte Suprema sa XXX vs. People (G.R. No. 268457. 22 July 2024 [uploaded to the Supreme Court website on 9 January 2025]), kung saan hinatulan ng guilty ang isang ama sa kasong pang-aabuso sa bata, alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 7610 o ang Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.
