Nationwide Post a Sticker on Child Road Safety Campaign held
The Post a Sticker on Child Road Safety Campaign organized by the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), National Youth Commission (NYC), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in collaboration with the Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), Amalgamated Specialties Corporation (AMSPEC), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) was launched in Robinsons Fairview on 24 November 2016 in observation of this year’s National Children’s Month.
The 2016 launch was attended by Atty. Marijoy D. Segui (Deputy Executive Director, CWC): Mr. Michael Esteban (Regional Sales Manager for Luzon, AMSPEC); Ma. Catherine Alejandro (Regional Operations Manager, RLC); Ms. Maria Elena Caguete (Supervising Transportation Regulation Officer, LTO); drivers and operators of tricycles and FX/UV Express in Robinsons Fairview.

Campaign stickers emphasizing the message “Batas Trapiko’y Sundin: Kaligtasan ng mga Bata Isipin” were handed out to drivers of motorcycles, tricycles, FX/UV Express, jeepneys and buses. The simultaneous distribution of stickers was also done in various Robinsons Mall throughout the country.
The Campaign intends to remind drivers of private and Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) to observe cautious driving to ensure the safety and welfare of the passengers, specifically the children on board these vehicles and on the streets.
